Mourning a child should not be rushed. The Cuddle Cot gives parents time to spend with their children after death. It is a compact cooling unit with a pad through which circulates cold water. It keeps the body cold and preserved to allow parents time. They are used throughout hospitals in Europe and are slowly gaining traction in the United States. We raised money for two cots—one for Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC and another for Advent Health Hospital in Hendersonville, NC.
